The owners of this charming apartment unit at Sommerville Park wanted a simple Scandinavian design for their home. 

 

Glass windows were introduced at the kitchen so that natural light could stream in from the exterior through the living room. This made the modest kitchen, which was originally a cramped and drab space, feel bright and spacious. Light pastel colours were used for the kitchen cabinetry to further brighten and enliven the space, while wooden textures were used throughout the rest of the home to add touches of warmth, particularly at the dining area and the bedrooms.
